High Medieval Living History

We are Chanz des Reis (‘song of the Kings’), a medieval re-enactment group covering the period 1066 to 1266, with a particular emphasize on the Anglo-Norman / Angevin era of 1135-1216.

Our living history repertoire covers civilian, military and religious life in the feudal High Medieval age, from the reign of King William the Conqueror to King Henry III.

We attend a wide variety of events across the UK, giving educational talks and displays about everyday life in the British Isles from the mid 11th to mid 13th century.

If you would like to get in touch with us about an event you’re organising, or you want to get involved with High Medieval reenactment, please drop us a line or visit our Facebook page.
